Primare DVD 26 Progressive Scan DVD Player
The design brief for the DVD26 was to create a player where audio and video performance was of equal importance. Capable of playing a wide variety of discs including: CD, CD-Video, Video CDs, CD-R, CD-RW, SVCD, DVD-Video, and MP3 encoded music collections on CD-ROM.
Numerous video outputs are provided: Composite Video, S-Video, RGB Scart and Interlaced Component Video. Progressive Scan, with NTSC and PAL compatibility, is supported via both Component Video and VGA outputs. The Progressive output board is modular allowing for the provision of future Digital Video outputs.
A high quality ultra quiet transport combined with Burr-Brown DAC’s ensures CD playback of the highest order. All associated electronics are located on separate boards well away from the transport and power supply electronics, to deliver the lowest possible distortion and noise. System integration was of equal importance in the design of the DVD26. To this end all video outputs are buffered and isolated enabling simultaneous connection of Component Video and Composite or S-Video feeds. System control is made far more straightforward with the implementation of both discrete IR and RS232 control inputs.
In keeping with Primare’s philosophy, the DVD26 is both simple and intuitive. Day to day operation can be accessed through the front panel buttons, whilst more extensive menu operation is made available using the supplied remote control.
Whether as a stand alone player or at the heart of a high quality multi-channel audio / video system, such as the SP31 or SPA21, the DVD26 will excel in all areas.

Primare DVD 30 Reference Multi-Format DVD-A & SACD Player

When combined with: three user memories, two Component Video outputs, S-Video, Composite Video and RGB Scart outputs, this degree of flexibility provides the perfect solution for both multi-format and multi-monitor applications.
