PRIMARE AMPLIFIERS Primare I21 Integrated Amplifier The I21 has an engineering heritage that may be traced through generations of class-beating ‘budget’ Primare amplifiers, each the beneficiary of an improved version of the ‘classic’ configuration of JFET input and bi-polar output devices. As many as four sources can use the I21’s muscular 75 watts and there are flexible output options including pre-outputs for an additional power amplifier. Chic, affordable, easy to use and dedicated completely to musical realism, the I21 will seduce the connoisseur in everyone.

Primare I30 Integrated Amplifier Like its award-winning predecessor, the A30.1, the I30 integrated amplifier has been created to answer emphatically two design challenges: purity in signal transfer and clean distortion-free amplification. For the I30, Primare has re-evaluated the A30.1, changing components where necessary to improve a class-leading design. The I30 is a finely judged balance of high performance and facility, delivering exceptional sound quality and ease of use over many years. Its pre-amplifier stage will accommodate six sound sources, including vinyl via and optional phono stage. Primare’s characteristically rigorous embrace of superior electrical design and aesthetic rendering has forged a perfect union between the I30 and the other 30 Series models including the CD31 CD player. Here, performance compatibility is expressed by the creation of a balanced signal path between player and amplifier: a revelatory connection, which eliminates noise and preserves fidelity right through to the speakers. Sources are selected via a simple, ultra-low noise rotary control. The I30’s precision-engineered volume control assures smooth operation and accurate channel balance at any volume level, which is in turn indicated by a clear but discreet display. Its muscular power amplifier stage has ample power to compensate for variations in loudspeaker load, so that your loudspeakers will always receive a highly stable and symmetrical signal. Loudspeakers usually regarded as demanding will perform at their best.

Primare A30 Reference Balanced Preamplifier The PRE30 pre-amplifier combines class-leading audio engineering with sophisticated Scandinavian aesthetics, to provide a high performance product, which is as pleasing on the eye as it is to the ear. The PRE30's enhanced circuit design reflects Primare's dedication to the process of delivering state-of-the-art performance to a wider audience. It is a new Class A coupled (single ended type), discrete, balanced design. The input stage is constructed using J-FET input devices coupled in a fold back cascade for maximum transient speed. All stages are current loaded and the current source is thermally compensated (this means that no DC servos are involved). The output stage uses MOS-FET output devices. A custom-made 100VA toroidal transformer and double active regulators are used in the PRE30's substantial power supply, which combines with local regulators to ensure that all stages in the design receive the current needed for best possible performance. Primare has designed the PRE30 to be as versatile and easy to use as it is advanced. Offering full remote control of all functions, including switching for its seven inputs (two sets of balanced and five sets of unbalanced), it also provides such useful features as individually adjustable input sensitivity for all inputs and a surround processor throughput, allowing the listener to use the PRE30 in a combined home theatre/music reproduction system. In addition, a remote link allows the listener to control a Primare power amplifier. As the first of a new generation of Primare products, the PRE30 represents a further reason to celebrate the virtue of Primare's founding objective: to advance the art of audio and video reproduction with sleek, sophisticated, and versatile designs for the discerning listener.

Dimensions: Primare A30.2 High Current Dual Mono Fully Balanced Power Amplifier. Stereo is all about maximizing two channels of sound. To create the right conditions for accurate stereo reproduction, each channel must be treated identically, and as a discrete entity. It must not be required to share resources with the other channel. The A30.2 is a dual-mono design, in which each channel has its own identical, dedicated mono amplifier, incorporating a heavy-duty custom-made toroidal transformer and low noise regulated power supplies. Each channel uses four ultra-fast bi-polar output devices in a push-pull configuration to preserve the fidelity of musical transients and minimise distortion. For even higher fidelity, the A30.2 can be converted easily to balanced mono operation. The A30.2 is robustly constructed from 2 mm steel. Heavy-duty gold-plated loudspeaker terminals and gold-plated RCA and XLR inputs are further evidence of Primare's dedication to excellence. The A30.2 can be partnered with the A30.5 to provide seven identical channels of amplification for multi-channel music and movie applications. The result is music and movie sound as vibrant and vital as the moment it was recorded, from an amplifier that is as beautiful in the making, as it is in the listening.
