Parasound Halo C2 AV Controller The THX® Ultra 2 certified Halo C2 Controller was designed to offer same superior quality, convenience and refinement found in the flagship C1, but at an extremely competitive price. The Motorola 24-bit processor used in the C1 Controller, is again employed in the C2, and is capable of extracting multi-channel data streams with incredible accuracy. A custom-designed DSP engine by Flextronics Design of Finland handles all bass management and time alignment duties. Individual digital channels are then fed through AKM ultra low jitter 24-bit/96 kHz D to A converters. All current multi-channel formats a catered for including Dolby® Digital, dts, dts - ES, Neo-6, Pro Logic II and the latest Prologic IIX. Aware of the potential lip sync issues in today's high resolution video formats Parasound now include five independent AV sync delay presets, each is assignable to an input ensuring a seamless video and audio performance. Analogue routing is given equal priority - all circuitry being of the highest quality and operating completely independently of all digital circuitry. Fully balanced inputs and outputs enable the C2 to perform as an exceptional analogue pre-amplifier. In common with the C1 Controller, the C2 is equipped with the highly regarded and fully PC programmable MX700 remote control. Capable of controlling every item within your home theatre system, the C2 also includes a smaller ‘Side Kick’ remote control, which is perfect for controlling the second zone. Like the C1, the C2 provides significant expansion opportunities. Eight channels are provided as standard with four additional programmable outputs being available for either system specific use, such as a height channel, or the accommodation of future formats. The internal open architecture and software upgradeable processors enable the Halo C2 to provide years of state-of-the-art audio/visual entertainment.

Parasound Halo A52 Multichannel Amplifier The A52 is essentially a less powerful version of the flagship A51 amplifier. Both the A51 and A52 utilise JFET inputs, MOSFET drivers and a high-current bipolar output. Guided by designer John Curl, Parasound has created a five-channel amplifier with sonic qualities usually reserved for ultra high-end stereo models. Its 125 Watts per channel ensures the effortless reproduction of musical subtleties and movie special effects. Exclusive class A/AB operation, found in the A51, is present in the A52, further enhancing the exceptional performance achieved by this multi-channel amplifier. If your system's requirements are for a smaller scale, high-performance amplifier, the A52 is the perfect choice.

Parasound Halo A51 Multichannel Amplifier Guided by designer John Curl, Parasound has created a five-channel amplifier with sonic qualities usually reserved for ultra high-end stereo models. Its 250 Watts-per-channel ensures the effortless reproduction of musical subtleties and movie special effects, whilst its exclusive class A /AB operation places the A51 in a league of its own. Considerable development time was invested in the high-bias design of the A51, to deliver absolute sound quality and optimum performance within a few minutes of warm-up. More conventional designs will only achieve optimum performance after hours of operation – at the end of the film. A refined and rugged powerhouse, the A51 will provide many years of high-end audio enjoyment for comparatively minimal financial outlay.
