Kef Ci Reference 1000, 1500 and 2000 In-Wall Loudspeakers
Ci Reference 1000, 1500 and 2000 DESCRIPTION Reference Series Ci 2000 is a true audiophile in-wall loudspeaker, utilising the same fourth generation Reference Uni-Q® driver array as the legendary Reference Series Model Four, partnered by two 160mm (6.5”) Cobex-coned bass drivers. This driver configuration is mounted into a 19mm thick baffle for extra rigidity and along with the powder-coated steel fixing frame - with moisture-resistant fixings - allows placement even in the harshest of environments such as bathrooms or even under eaves. The Uni-Q array has a sealed back-box arrangement to ensure optimum performance from the Uni-Q array regardless of the volume of the cavity placement. The stainless steel bezel and grille can be painted to specification to suit the style of the room. The 3-way, 4 driver Ci Reference 2000 combines 200W power handling with 91dB sensitivity, with a frequency response (±3dB) of 55Hz - 20kHz and a maximum output of 114dB. FEATURES & BENEFITS • Fourth generation Reference Uni-Q® driver array: Superb off-axis dispersion characteristics from the co-incident source driver arrangement, allowing both vertical and horizontal mounting positions. • Reference build standard: Each loudspeaker is built and tested to conform to ‘The Reference.’ Each one must meet our standards to an unbelievable tolerance of just 0.5 decibels. • Twin 160mm (6.5”) bass drivers: Excellent low frequency performance (LF corner 42Hz -6dB) from a flush mounting loudspeaker. • Bi-wire terminals: Offering excellent performance upgradability through biwiring/ bi-amping configurations.
